Unless it has to do with quality control (chipped or warped blades), there is no such thing as a best blade. Others swear by Derby Extras, but Derby's are one of the few blades out there that I 100% can not get a good shave out of no matter what I try.īest way to figure out what works is to go to tryablade and buy a couple samplers (the top 10 is a safe bet).Īnd ignore blade reviews. They're just okay for me, as they leave my neck a tiny bit more irritated than normal and don't last for as many shaves. Some really like Feathers since they are the sharpest.
I like Gillette Silver Blues and PolSilver SI blades.
Everyone's skin, hair, razors, soaps, angles, and pressures are different, so which blades work best is entirely dependent on who is using it. What works for some might not work for others.
